Anyone able to help out with the code for 6000cd M478240, thanks

Without ripping my dashboard apart how do I find the serial number of my 6000cd? I didn't get it with any paperwork when I bought thee car from a dealer. I have tried the 1-6 button press but nothing comes up starting with M. Thanks
