Ford Fiesta TDCI 04 radio code, please help

Hi,
I recently had to change the battery on my car and the radio has reset its self and is asking for a code, my car had no service book when I bought it so I have no info on the serial numbers or model of my radio (sorry).
I read somewhere that pressing 1 and 6 gives out a number that my code can be generated from, this number is 01258

Hope somebody can help, thanks in advance

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
