Being my first post please excuse me if it’s not the right forum category but after a battery disconnection my S-Max 2012 with Navi is asking for this code and I have found your website googling for infos. I believe anti-theft protection is based on VIN and I have my VIN and also the manuals and service book from Ford but I don’t find a section dedicated to this problem and with a code. Device PIN is a 4 number code? If I send the VIN can be decrypted?

This number are related to serial number, 0030899
8618003854 ? I’m in the middle of nowhere with no tools or knowledge of finding other serial number.
The picture is a sticker located under the main button(youtube teach me how to remove it with my hands/fingers).

check to see if it is stamped on metal casing of radio
without a serial the only way to get code will be by reading a chip within the radio which can be done by a local radio decoding service.

Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] button

(note : sometimes it is the [ 6 ] or [< ] or [>] button that stores the code)

The set should now operate.
