Hope someone can help I have a Visteon in car DVD player (under the passenger seat) asking for a code.

I’ve managed to get the details off the unit (what a pig of a job!) I’m not sure if it’s classed as an M serial number or a V or a VM any help appreciated.

For anyone else with my issue of not having the remote you can enter the code manually. I’ve showered the internet and no where does anyone say if you can or not and how but I can tell you it is possible.

If your screens are locked with the countdown let it run down. It will then show 0-0-0-0.

Go to your dvd unit you will need 2 people ideally to do this, one to look at the screens and one to enter the code. Use the buttons on the front of the DVD player ignoring the eject and M button to select the entry position and the scroll through the numbers till yours in entered correctly. Then press the M button to store.

Can you please help me, the radio code was not included in a pile of documents that the previous owner of my Mondeo supported to me. Just replaced the old battery and now the Sony 6CD is asking for the radio code.
