I've already searched the forum because I don't like creating duplicates. The code on the forum shows numbers 1490 but my radio only goes from 1 to 6.

I believe the radio was a 4500 RDS EON (I'll confirm later)
Recent clutch change stopped radio from working. I'll post radio model tomorrow when I'm at the garage. Any help would be very much appreciaited.

Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios
Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'
Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit
To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] button
(note : sometimes it is the [ 6 ] or [< ] or [>] button that stores the code)
The set should now operate.
