I have a 6000 CD player with serial number S0701940 according to 6-1 start up procedure. Can anyone tell me the code for it? According to original sales document, serial should be M258041 and code 5981, but that does not work. Thanks for this awesome resource.

5981 is correct for M258041

The numbers on the display in your photos are not the correct Serial Number

This means that the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard to quote the correct Serial Number on the label on the metal case

this means that the Radio will have to be removed from the dashboard
