So glad I found this amazing resource, you guys are doing a great job.

We recently changed the battery in out 2005 Focus hatch. The CD Ref code I have is:

Ford 6000 CD
FDC2005M023279

We have the book with code on it (don't have it to hand) but the supplied code doesn't register! Strange! On attempt 6 of 10 now so correct. Ode would be great!

if your serial no is M023279 the code for that is 1998

after you put the code in you must press 5 to set the code ???

I am sure the code on my book that came with the car says 1968 or 1698, it definitley has a 6 in it so that explains why it wont register! Just seems strange the wrong code was supplied with my literature!

I will try 1998 when I get home.
