FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

Hi , Has anybody got the code for a radio serial number M189964 ? Got a flat battery over Christmas and can't find the code.

Hi Willie. Just used the code generator to get my code and it works perfectly. Yours is coming up as 9792. Hope that helps. Adam

Hi,

My car battery ran flat over Xmas and I can't get the radio out to find the serial number to get the code. When I press 6 and 1 it shows the below:
DPMV5H255
090000
50702000

I don't know how to deduce the serial number from this? My car is a 53 plate Focus if this helps?

Any advice would be appreciated :)

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
