I am new to this site and I am keeping my fingers crossed someone will be kind enough to give me an unlock code for my 6006e CD radio. It's the one that has that pen type thing that pops out for added security! I just paid £127 at Fords for a new one of those and convinced I have been well stitched up with that, maybe someone can tell me if I have?!
Anyway, the serial number for this multi changer CD radio is : M023554 any help would be much appreciated.
I thought the pen thing had the code in it but found out it didn't when I needed to change the battery and have new alternator fitted. Its driving me nuts and after 2 attempts to guess the code I figured I had best stop at that point in case I blocked it for good meaning another trip to Fords for the code!
Thanks for reading and for any advice you can give. :)
M023554 code is 0403
Thank you Redrooster for your time. It has worked, so no more silent drives down the motorway! Much appreciated. :D

Hi I've just joined the forum as I'm after a code for my stereo. My serial number is v068860. Also as I am a math teacher and geek does anyone know if they calculate the 4 digit code from the serial number or are they just randomly assigned. Thanks in advance if anyone can find my code. (Sick of having to listen to the wife in the car!)
Cheers

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

A recommended cheap and reliable place is here

www.ukbookshelf.co.uk/fordv

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
