Hello, can someone help please after removing my car battery,
it then ask for radio code which i dont have, CD 6000
my serial number is M036972

i have a sony 132-6cd and cannot read the code written on the side. serial number is M027154 Please help

Sony 6 CD Changer in Ford Focus 1.8 Diesel TDCI 2006
Hi,
have changed battery and the expected unlock code is not in my log book.
Have tried pressing keys 6 & 1 and this does set off a series of letters and numbers but none seem to be a serial number.
Display as follows:
HLA 11/JUL/05-0
S.W 6.1.4
CD SW 01 09 02
BEZEL SW 1.1
ACU CFG 820208
BOOT 01.0B.03
Does anyone know if the code can be generated from these details or will I have to remove the radio?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
