ou, yeah, I almost forgot, I entered wrong code 10 times, so now on screen is a message "10" So it is possible to return back to code entering mode? And how?

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

Sorry-----Your code is NOT in the small, free database

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

(You have to beware of dodgy Russian / Romanian sites offering cheap codes !)

I replaced the battery of my Ford Range only to find out that we cant find the required code for Visteon 6500R cd Player. When I turn on the radio it displays WAIT 30:00 and counts down, is this a bad thing.

It says WAIT 30mins because wrong codes have been entered.

Leave it switched ON without interruption for 30 minutes and it should reset to CODE - - - -

Now enter code 8695


Ford Code Entry Instructions for most Ford radios

Once the unit has been turned on the display will show ' CODE - - - -'

Press preset [ 1 ] repeatedly for the first digit
Press preset [ 2 ] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [ 3 ] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [ 4 ] repeatedly for the fourth digit

To save/store the code press the [ 5 ] key ....................... or sometimes it is [6] or [>]

The set should now operate.

Do not use this code until you have made sure this is the correct Serial Number found on a label on the radio casing as you may have run out of code attempts
