I used one of those 'Generator' websites but the code it gave me wouldn't work. Wondered if someone here could help me. The serial code for the ford 6000CD is M008867 (the code generated, that didn't work, was 0403) thankyou

0403 is the correct code for M008867

Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
