The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Sorry for the multiple posts. I was just heading my bets as I thought the threads were managed by different people and some of the treads appeared. dead. Anyhow thanks for the code. It worked perfectly.

The code in my manual doesn't work with the radio which is a bit odd.
The radio is a 6000CD E-O-N, in a 54 plate Ford Focus and the serial number is M158959

If anyone is able to give me the correct code I would be most grateful.
