How do fix it if it says locked 10?

Could someone please help me. I've just had a new battery fitted. I have tried to get the serial number following the steps above and came out with either of the following;

This was in a date format as follows;

06-02-06
05-01-02

I don't seem to get anything starting with an M?

Please can someone help.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Sorry-----Your code is NOT in the small, free database

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

(You have to beware of dodgy Russian / Romanian sites offering cheap codes !)
