So glad that this thread is still active, as I too need my radio code due to the previous owner not writing it down anywhere! So it is a CD6000 and the serial number is - M303059.

I'm having trouble finding my serial number. Ive pressed the 6+1 buttons, but only get 3 screens showing DP MV SH, 50700012 and 09--00--00. No numbers beginning with M.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Need to find my serial number to be able to get my code.

Old radio...remove and fiind serial from the label..
