can't find my serial and don't have a way to remove the radio.
I have pressed 1 and 6 and the only info that shows is SWP-16561, can anyone help?

try holding 6 then press 2

I tried and nothing happened and can’t find someone to help me take the radio out to check the code

Hold down buttons 6 and 1, and then release 6 (keep 1 pressed).

Hi, can anyone tell me the code for the below. Had a new battery fitted and my 6000CD radio needs a code. I press 1 & 6 together and the following comes up on the display;

CD_KW_8
30/11/2005
05-01-02
ALIGN
SWP1-6561
SWP2- -14CO44
SWP3- -AC
SWP4-

Have you "keep 1 pressed" ?
Hold down buttons 6 and 1, and then release 6 (keep 1 pressed).

Hi Dave - yes pressed 6 and 1 together then realeased 6. The messages displayed as set out above.

I have tried doing that too and no change at all and doesn't show the serial number

Hi My 6000 CD RDS not accepting code from code generator.

Ford Serial sticker say M179779

Code Generator = 4458
I input using the radio front buttons 1 (4) 2 (4) 3 (5) 4 (8) Display = CODE 4 4 5 8 then press 5 as I have no 'Select' button.

Does not unlock !!
Any advice please. Now at attempt 6 and keep waiting 30 mins to try same code 4458.

EDIT /UPDATE This is Ford Transit Connect Van 2005 model

I finally got the serial number: M062779

Can I please have the code?
