6962 has been checked and is definitely the correct code for the Serial Number quoted
Make sure V055503 is the correct Serial Number as printed on the label on the metal casing.

the fact of the matter is that on the labels of the radio tape recorder and the radio tape recorder itself issues this serial number

that means if 6962 does not work then your radio has been recoded in the past to a different number
