Thanks but doesnt seem to have worked. Got Serial number by pressing 1 and 6 - do i need to remove the stereo and get number from back? Also it gave me 9 digits - posted the first 6 as I thought they were the right ones. All help appreciated

M50600500 has too many digits so is unlikely to be the required Serial Number

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard

My old MK3 had to go through some heavy refurbishment and the battery was tajen off.
Now my M series radio is asking for the PIN.

The serial is M011993
