Ford 6000CD radio code

Anyone? I have lost my code for the radio in the ford focus after removing the battery. I did what i saw to be able to find out the serialnumber by pressing 1 and 6 at the same time to get it but when i look for it online i got the wrong code can anyone help me? I got the code 50 700012 and it didnt start with a M either.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
