FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

I am new to this site and I am keeping my fingers crossed someone will be kind enough to give me an unlock code for my 6006e CD radio. It's the one that has that pen type thing that pops out for added security! I just paid £127 at Fords for a new one of those and convinced I have been well stitched up with that, maybe someone can tell me if I have?!
Anyway, the serial number for this multi changer CD radio is : M023554 any help would be much appreciated.
I thought the pen thing had the code in it but found out it didn't when I needed to change the battery and have new alternator fitted. Its driving me nuts and after 2 attempts to guess the code I figured I had best stop at that point in case I blocked it for good meaning another trip to Fords for the code!

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
