Obtaining 6000 CD Serial Number

can anybody get the code for my cd player 6000, the serial number is V023293. my Cd player states blocked and the momment also help on this please. thankyou so much.

If it says LOCKED it means that wrong codes have been entered

Try leaving it switched on without interruption for 2 hours

If the display does not change from LOCKED then too many wrong codes have been entered previously so your radio can only be unlocked and reset by a Radio Decoding Service (There is no free solution )

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

Can someone help me out? I just bought an 08 Mondeo and the CD6000 is locked. I used the 6 + 1 button trick in the original post and I think my serial number is V055334. Does anyone know how to find my code to unlock it?

edit: i see the V codes are not normally free so will have to go to that pay website or get a ford dealer to look it up. are v codes ever free?

You could try your local Ford Dealer to see if you can blag it for free (especially if you have your car serviced at a Ford Dealer .. you can always say you have it serviced there even if you don't ! )


Some will give you the code for free.... but many won't !

Ask for the Parts Department

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
