The
correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with
M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

6 & 2 gave me nothing more, so ordered some removal keys, I take it out and be back

Holding down 1 & 6 didn't work for me, and had to order some keys to remove the radio.
It wasn't a painless process, poked my self with the key's occidentally and injured myself.
I finally got the serial number though: M055655. Hopefully the unlock code will ease my pain.

Hey guys my car has just come back from the garage and my code that I was given won't work. Please help!!! The serial number is V109265

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES
If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
A recommended cheap and reliable place is here

Screen has "inked out " on my 6000cd .I removed the unit in the hope that I could replace the faulty screen for the one in an old 2000 traffic unit but they are completely different.
Unfortunately I cant find the manual for my 6000cd which had the code on it so I ask if you can help me out ?
The Serial number is M008449
