Please could I get a code for my radio but not sure what the serial code is out of the details below:

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

When I hold 6 and 1 it gives me the original info posted above and I get no response from holding 6 and 2 together. I bought the radio removal keys but these don't work and unit will not pull out...any other ideas folks? As I say its a 2001 ford fiesta 6000cd radio model.

Sorry...the radio HAS to be removed if the 6/1 or 2 display method does not work

The extractor pins/keys will work but you have to be patient
