hi everyone, i have been locked out of my radio and have not got the code on my ford focus how do i find out the serial number and then the code to make the radio work again? thanks for your help guys

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

I've pressed the 6-1 and 6-2 together but no code is shown? do i have to take the radio out? its a 2010 ford focus

I've found this code using the 6-1 button, its v-138319 so does anyone have the code for it? thanks

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)
