Free Ford Radio Code Forum

Hi I have a mondeo mk3 with a Sony 6cd radio installed can you help me with the code for this.
The serial number is CAM 053731

Now I have a mac and no way of running the free radio code software properly
I've tried emulating windows and entered M053731 as the code and it gives 1443 as the result.
Is this the correct code ? If so do I use keys 1-4 to enter numbers and 5 to finish ? Or is there a different way on these radios

Here are the ford 4 digit code entry instructions.

Current Four Digit Ford Radio Codes
Ford 3000 Traffic, 4000RDS, 5000RDS, 6000RDS, 6006E, etc

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code supplied is showing on the radio's display,
press button 5 to activate the radio.

Thanks that was the same code I came up with. I did find an online free calculator at http://www.radio-code.it and that gave the same results.

The site is great for ford radios but you have to pay for other car manufactures radios.

Will now have to remove the radio to install the parrot system I'm going to now get.

I have the same issue - battery off (EGR valve number 4, in original!).

I have ordered some keys so hope to prize the unit out to find serial number later this week.

To help others - I bought 4 keys from ebay.co.uk for £3.29. The keys are inserted deep and the correct way round!

See attached pictures. - here the stereo is already out but this shows the way the keys face - this is the top left side. the straight edge of all keys faces the outside of the stereo.
