please help - 3000 Traffic

I disconnected my battery as it had a code on top of my unit, little did I know this doesn't work
3000 traffic
M069780
xs6f-18k876-ba
fd3000
and the code it had written on top is 42865 (which is one to many numbers)

Hi I have a traffic 3000 I bought it yesterday and it needs code. I held down 2&6 and 3&6 for serial number without any joy. When I held down 1&6 it flashed up MP DS DP then flashed up 303 255. Does anyone know if I'm doing the right thing or not?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hey guys am new here. I changed my radio to the ford 3000 and it's asking for a code I have no idea what it is
The serial number M067698
If anyone can help I would really appreciate it. So boring with out music.
