Hi registered, downloaded file and extracted it but can only type in code, pressing button 5 to get it to generate a code won't work, the close programme button works only. Windows 7 pc.
Have recently bought Mondeo mk2 with no service book, auctioneer lost them and have no idea of the code.
Its a CD 6000 unit with serial number M126807, can anyone help please?
Would be most grateful.

Hi Chippy The radio in the car works fine but needed the code for future when I may need to disconnect battery. So to try your suggested code, rather than disconnect it and risk it not working, (sorry no disrespect to you on your part!), I noticed that the unit has a feature where a 16 digit identity code can be entered, (I have an audio book from previous Mondeo), and that the previous owner had not used this function, it was blank. In order to put an id code in, used my post code and house number, the instructions say you first have to put in the keycode, so I did with the one you gave me.
Result!!! It let me do this so the number must be correct, fantastic, thank you so much for that, very much appreciated. I would like to submit a donation for this info to the forum board, how do I do that?
