Hi
I had to jump my car as the battery was flat and I now have no radio and it is really annoying me... I don't have the keys to take out the radio but I seen a post saying that I can press 1 and 6 to get the serial number, but I did this and there was no serial number or any number starting with m or v... the following is what popped up

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
