Hi there,
I have a Sony 6CD (gen 2) from a Ford Mondeo 2011.

The Bluetooth has stopped working and apparently i need to pull the fuse to reset it, but before I do that, I need the security code. Could you please help me? I've flashed the latest firmware I could find but the Bluetooth 'audio mute' error persists.

When I press buttons "1" and "6" I get:

V001268 is the Serial Number

Ford V Serial Number codes require someone with access to the Ford factory database.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I followed that link and paid for the unlock code. It was CHEAP and very FAST!

-unfortunately the Ford Manual for the fuses is incorrect. I still cannot figure out which fuse kills the radio (it's not F6 or F21).

Only other option is to pull the battery, which is very cumbersome and requires removing bits off the air filter.

All of this just to reset the Bluetooth module so my phone playes through it again....!

Hellow there, i have a 2006 mondeo 6cd changer. After having the battery changed the radio is no longer accesible and requires a code.

I have removed the cd player to access the serial number which is DGG 011534.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
