Need to get a code for a ford 60000 cd radio tried every thing even bought the for app from App Store can anyone help please

I held 1 and 6 and got a number 50702201 is that correct

I don`t think so
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here..... or search YouTube for a video

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

After getting the serial number and replacing the unit, the screen lights up green but with no LCD letters showing now.
Is this unusual or do I have to disconnect the battery again?
