Ford Mondeo Sat Nav code

Hi I recently had the battery changed in my Ford Mondeo and now the satnav requires the pin number. From what I have been told I need the serial number from the side of the satnav which seems fairly involved however I do have a number written on one of the car manuals which is BS7T-18K931-EB is this the serial number and can someone help with the pin?

No..the Serial Number will be printed on the label on the metal casing
Possible beginning Mxxxxxx or Vxxxxxx
