I had tried that and pressing 5 after. Nothing happened I have a small 3 after your 4 digit spaces. I can't find anything about that online

First check your Serial Number M144887 again.
Is it the one printed on the label?
If yes..then try leaving the radio switched on (without interruption) for an hour or two ...to see if the display resets.

Yeah. I was also thinking that number 5 on the keypad has deteriorated and moisture has corroded on PC board. I've tracked a strain of copper from just a bit of wire. I haven't tried it yet though.

Just tried this morning and it's unlocked. The circuit for number 5 button was bad on pcb. It's done the trick. Cheers Redrooster
