Hi, I have already been given the code by my local garage which was 3163 but this did not work. Would really appreciate any help.

the code is correct sounds like its been re-coded by a previous owner.
are you pressing 5 to save the code?

Hi Ray - yes I pressed 5 afterwards but it just goes back to the 30 min countdown timer again before I can enter another code. Up to number 7 now and concerned I am going to get it locked forever if i reach 10.

I tried to phone a Ford dealer and they said bring it in but they will charge me £20 to unlock it. So asked my local garage to phone the same Ford dealer and now they were happy to provide the code, however the number we gave above (CAM121094) wasn't the serial number and they have asked for numbers on the side of the stereo that are either side of the digits '18C815'. Not sure why it has to be so complicated.

I have now been driving around with no radio for 3 weeks. I can't believe how incredibly difficult this is!

Also really unimpressed with the customer service provided by Ford dealers, having also been to speak to another one in person, but after interrupting him reading the newspaper, he told me how busy he was and to bring it in at the weekend but again he will charge £20.

Would appreciate any more help.

did you try this to get the serial no ?
To get serial No press and hold 6 & 1 buttons and then release 6 keep 1 pressed look for serial No begins
with letter M OR V and 6 digits

Yes i did but the number that came up was ACU CFG 820008.

Could the final 6 digits mean anything? I presume M121094 above isnt the serial number?

have you took the radio out and checked the serial no??

Well my local garage did and gave me the CAM121094 number, which i presumed was the code.

Should i go back and ask the to do this again?

Hi - I have managed to find a scribble of what may be the radio serial number. Does the number M002806 have a code for it?
