LSRNS serial No?

Hi Folks.

First post so be nice 8-)

Our Focus had to have a new battery & of course the stereo requires a code to break the silence, I have got it out of the car but am having a bit of bother with the serial No & therefore can't even start to crack the code bit.
The unit is a Ford Sat nav stereo (LSRNS) so does this ring any bells with anyone.
Can't see anything beginning with M/C/V with 6 digits after it?

Any one help?

Cheers

Keith

Is this in standby mode?
If I switch it on I get the code input screen & it tries to load the inputs 6/1 as possible codes.

Nope, nothing shows when in standby & if you switch the unit on you get the code/device input page & it then thinks you are trying to enter a code when you press any digits.
There is a number under the bar code 8M5T18K931GC is this what I'm looking for?
Another line is
LSRNS
C7E3A054488139376

There is a sticker in the aperture where the unit sits which makes me think this is a replacement unit not the original one. :?

Any bells ringing now?

Tried 6/1 & 6 with all the other numbers.
Still no joy unfortunately.

For the benefit of future searches.
The unit is the Blaupunkt Travel pilot, I nipped into Ford & gave them the unit to copy the numbers off the labels on the side & they sent these over to Ford UK, about an hour later they called me to give me the 4 digit code.
No charge from Ford (Sandicliffes Nottingham) for this service.

Thanks for the help guys.
