I've input that code (5334) twice but it says it's incorrect. Any ideas? How many tries do I get, by the way?

Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.akita wrote:Hi,

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here

Re: Obtaining 6000 CD Serial Number
Please could you check that code 5334 is correct for S/N M014227. I doubt if the CD unit has been recoded as I've had the car for most of its existance.belwel wrote:Hi redrooster, redrooster wrote:5334belwel wrote:Well, that was a fiddle getting the CD unit out as I put one of the keys in wrongly.
