Hi I have a ford mondeo I just brought it’s got a DVD player but it’s asking for the key code Can anyone help

Hi I just brought a 2009 smax with the dvd under the seat. But it needs a code and the old owner dont know it. Any chance of some help.

Good afternoon. Thanks for the code. Unfortunately I can't enter it because the screen is locked, it doesn't ask me for the code and it doesn't react to the keys on the remote.
Any ideias?

It seems that the system only allows up to 10 attempts to enter the code which have already been tried. what next? Can turning off the power supply reset it?
