Hi, Everybody I am new to this code you tell me how to get my radio code for my focus please I don't know where to get my serial number from to start with are there other ways to get it thanks

Thank you for this awesome resource. While trying to get my 6000 Cd up and running after changing the battery, I discovered a method of obtaining the serial number without removing the radio unit (if this is already documented, apologies!)

Turn on the unit
Hold down buttons 6 and 1, and then release 6 (keep 1 pressed).
The unit will then cycle through a load of stuff. The first screen ends with the serial number of the device:
Mxxxxxx
