ford 6000cd code

hi all, just bought an escort van, and the ford cd player in it is asking for a code, does anyone know how to reset these things so I can put my own code in, or is there someone who can get the code for me, many thanks in advance.

Serial number is: M123936 Part No. is: YS4F - 18C815 - AA Model is: 6000NE

Switch the radio on and the word CODE should appear in the display

Repeatedly press button 1 until the correct first digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 2 until the correct second digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 3 until the correct third digit of the code is displayed.
Repeatedly press button 4 until the correct fourth digit of the code is displayed.
Once the code supplied is showing on the radio's display,
press button 5 to activate the radio.
