Hi this is my post I buy and sell cars and always getting cars with no radio code , I need a radio code M04122 thank in advance .

M04122...check the Serial Number again..It is one digit short
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi posted yesterday that I needed code for 4000RDS radio in my works van with serial No M241748 and Redrooster gave me code 4807 which would be right, but when I've entered it the correct way and pressed key 5 nothing happens it just displays the code I've just put in, tried disconnecting it and left it for a while and doing the same as before but the end result is the same as before, can anyone help!

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES
If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

A few suggestions..
Possibly button 5 not working....remove the detachable fascia with buttons on...then click it back .
Did it display CODE ---- when you started?
Otherwise try pressing Button 6 for 10 seconds ....and then enter the code.
If still no good then try leaving the radio switched on without interruption ...and then enter the code
