transit radio code

Hi radio in my van has packed up and picked one up from a scrap dealer. the radio did have a code on written on the back that i entered but it went to the wait 30 minutes display, so im guessing it was the wrong one can anyone help the number on the radio is M388772

a lot redrooster normal service is resumed
