Hi, I have a Ford Radio 2006 RDS which I bought to try and turn back time on my Ford Escort and put it back to how it rolled out of the factory.

The radio just reads '10' on the lcd, my research has led me to believe someone has entered the code wrong too many times and it has locked itself.

I have tried a few button combinations with ignition on/off also leaving it on for several hours. Is there a way to bring it back so I can enter the code. There is a number on top which is possibly the code, failing that I will try and get it online.

I am reasonably competent in that if I needed to open it up and short some pins or something I could do this but I don't know what is needed to reset this.

Serial number is M000259

It's in good condition and I'd hate to ditch it unnecessarily, any help greatly appreciated.

your code is 5182
for locked 10...hold button 6 for about 10 seconds and it should fo to 11 and allow you to enter code

Hi, thanks for the info however the holding 6 doesn't work. I've tried numerous different ways with the ignition on, powering on while holding etc for various lengths and it still says 10.
