Hi all!
I have a Ford Sound 2000 model 2015 radio cassette, with a serial of M000459.
Using a few of the free online code generators, they all came back with the same code: 8348
On powering up I have to wait 30 minutes for the code digits to flash so I can enter them. I enter them via the preset buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, then I press 'select' on the front panel. It then reverts to being locked, and I have to wait another 30 minutes.
So, am I doing this right, or is the code wrong?
Thanks!

Where did you find the Serial Number M000459?
The correct Serial Number is the one printed on the label on the metal casing

Thanks @redrooster
The number which I assumed to be the serial (beginning 'M') is on the label, photo enclosed.
It also has a sticker suggesting it has been repaired or decoded in the past.
Many thanks.

8348 is the correct original code...so if that doesn't work then that label suggests it has been decoded/recoded in the past to a different number
If you ring the number on the label they may be able to tell you the new code from their records ....and no doubt charge you a small fee

Thanks redrooster
I didn't think it was possible to re-code a radio. I'll give the numbers a go.
Update: I just tried the numbers. The landline was re-issued in 2020, and the new holder knew nothing of the number's previous usage. I've removed the image for their privacy.
Back to square one!
I guess this will have to go to someone who can retrieve the new code.
