Hi there. I'm having IT issues downloading the code generator. Could anyone tell me the code for the ancient fiesta I've just inherited from a relative. The radio is an RDS4000 and it shows M063550.
Many thanks for any help!

Thank you so much, that's very kind.
It worked to 'unlock' the radio and it switched on ok but it doesn't seem to pick up any stations. I'm guessing there's something broken with the radio itself or aerial. Will google for a copy of the audio guide I guess. Thanks again though for your time redrooster.

Ha! I thought the hard bit would be getting the code. It seems that I was a bit naive thinking that the audio manual for an RDS4000 would just be there somewhere on the internet. Oh dear, does anyone know a link? Thanks again.

Make sure your aerial is plugged in.

There are a couple of SONY manuals here

http://www.freefordradiocode.co.uk/foru ... m.php?f=19

or try Ebay...Audio guides listed for around £2

example Item 162124454412

Thanks Redrooster. At the risk of sounding really stupid, how do I check the aerial is plugged in? It's there on the roof and I unscrewed and then re-attached it. But is there a connection inside the car or behind the radio then?

Thanks again for your time

The lead plugs into a socket at the back of the radio.

If you have pulled the radio out to read the label with the Serial Number then the chances are that you have loosened or pulled out this lead.
Make sure it is fully pushed into the socket before pushing the radio back into the dashboard mounting assembly
