CODE, LOCK10 and LOCK13 Information

Hi all,

Long time listener, first time poster..

My 4000 RDS is locked, was 10, I pressed 6 for another try some pin number was on a post-it in the cab = nada.
I did the 1 - 6 hold trick. the output isn't V or M! I just thought you guys would like to see this as its probably quite a rare error..

It's 50600500 then 255 in smaller text.

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Today I removed the unit with DIY release hooks I made from a coat hanger the code was written on top of the unit cheers anyway!

LOCK13 means 13 or more wrong codes have been entered previously .

Your radio is now fully LOCKED and can only be reset by taking it into a Radio Decoding Service.(and paying )

There are NO FREE SOLUTIONS on the Internet for LOCK13
