The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi, I really do not understand how to find the serial number. I have the pin generator but it needs the serial number to be able to generate a code.
The car was bought in Sweden in 2008.
Im not able to remove the stereo siince I do not have the tools.
I have pressed 6+1 and then a lot of information is shown but I can not understand which of the numbers that are shown is the serial number??

7829 is the correct code for M086773

Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.
