The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hello. I have an ford 6000 cd rds eon radio, the car battery off, and I need a code :(. Please help me, the serial is: M009509 Part NO: YM21-18K876-KA. Thank you very much!

Hi - my Smax just had the battery disconnected and replaced and I need a code for unit V023145. (That was about the 10th number that came up when I pressed 1&6 on the stereo.) Much appreciated.

FORD V SERIAL NUMBER CODES

Sorry-----Your code is NOT in the small, free database

If your radio has the Ford V Serial Number then it will not normally be available for free as access is required to the Ford factory database (unless you can blag it for free from Ford)

(You have to beware of dodgy Russian / Romanian sites offering cheap codes !)
