I have just bought a van and the radio is not excepting the code I have in the booklet m012947 is the serial number.
Booklet says the code is 1866. How do I check if the code is wrong or the radio is broken?

M012947 correct code is 9727
Try it once only.
If it does not work then make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
